Ten Stories is clearly what one has come to expect of the
Tone Sharks:
unpredictably eclectic, focused in aesthetic, solid straight-ahead playing,
structured in a complex, yet no- nonsense post-modern jazz language, avant-garde,
though traditionally grounded -- hard-working musicians with something to say,
the ability to express it and the sensibility to do it with intelligence and
taste.
